Katie Perry

Katie was born and raised in Phoenix where she attended Xavier College Preparatory and then traveled south to the University of Arizona to study Communications. After completing her degree Katie went on to become a publicist to the stars in Los Angeles, CA. After returning to 'the Valley of the Sun', Katie took a position handling PR and Events for local nonprofit notMYKid and later transitioned into the education field as the director of external relations for BASIS Educational Group. Now a mother of three, Katie enjoys being a full time Mom and continuing her work in the community through the Xavier Alumnae Board and Wigged Out.

Lindsey Dies

Lindsey is a Phoenix native and also attended Xavier College Preparatory with Chelsea & Katie. Following graduation from The University of California, Santa Barbara, she completed her Masters in Counseling at Arizona State University. Lindsey currently is a clinician & owner of Arcadia Counseling & Wellness, PLLC where she serves adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of mental health issues. In addition to her role as clinician, Lindsey is also a mom to three. Lindsey is exceptionally proud of how much Wigged Out has grown over the years and the number of families the organization has been able to touch.

 

 

Treasurer & Co-Founder

Chelsea Kunde

Chelsea was born in Florida but became a Phoenix local in 1996. Chelsea attended Xavier College Preparatory & then continued her education at The University of Arizona with a Psychology Degree and then went on to receive her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of San Diego. Chelsea owns her own consulting company called Building Blocks Family which focuses on sleep, discipline, and potty training services for families. She also proudly sits on the board of Barron Collier Companies. Chelsea is married to Josh Kunde and is a mom to daughters, Harper and Reese. Her personal experience and unwavering strength as she faced a diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma inspired us to form Wigged Out. Chelsea enjoys her time on the board of Wigged Out to give back to the community and help people feel like themselves despite going through medical hardships.

Board Director

Toby Keller

Toby Keller has been a resident of Phoenix since moving here 20 years ago. She owned and operated Desert Surf Co., a retail surf shop with 5 locations in Arizona and then became a Senior Account Manager for Extreme Integration.

As a mother of 5 children, Toby believes in staying active in her community organizations, serving on such boards such as Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center, Wellness Community and most currently Wigged Out.  Toby has helped with organization’s efforts to raise awareness and money by serving on and chairing various committees; including 5 years on Phoenix Heart Ball, Capital Campaigns for Xavier College Preparatory and Christ Lutheran School, along with various other charities. 

Toby’s family history is one of giving back to her community. Working with Wigged Out has offered her a chance to help give a “sense of self” back to those who need all their strength to fight another day.

 

 

Executive Director

Kendall Chester

Kendall has resided in Phoenix since moving to the Valley in 2001. After graduating from Arcadia High School, Kendall attended Arizona State University, completing a degree in Psychology. Following graduation, Kendall joined Teach for America - Phoenix, teaching special education. During this time, Kendall completed her Masters in Special Education, also at Arizona State University. After leaving the classroom, Kendall continued to work towards creating positive change in the Phoenix community through a variety of roles in the non-profit sector. Now a mother of three young children, Kendall is thrilled to use her background in fundraising and communications as a member of the Wigged Out team. Kendall also serves on the Phoenix Women’s Board of the Steele Children’s Research Center at the University of Arizona, affectionately known as PANDA, supporting discovery processes to improve treatments and cures for devastating childhood diseases.

Kate Keller

Kate currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona. Kate graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Family and Human Development. In mid 2020 Kate left her career as a teacher and started her own Social Media Agency. Kate has always had a passion for helping others and helping children. Kate loves hearing all the stories of our applicants and Kate makes sure she spreads their stories throughout social media.
